HOURS OF OPERATION
There are a few options that are used in landscape lighting including path lighting, spot and area lighting and full illumination. Path lights are placed along sidewalks and entryways. These lights make it easier to see where you're walking at night. There are a number of styles in both LED and solar power. Spot and area lighting are used to highlight specific areas in your landscape. This method is most commonly used around certain plants, seating, ponds and fountains. Full illumination is ideal for driveways, patios and outdoor cooking spaces.
There are great reasons to choose either solar powered lights or LED lights. Solar powered can be used for pool lights, floodlights, accent lights and path lights. They are energy-efficient and you don't have to hassle with cords, cables or electricity.
LED lights are also an energy-efficient way to light up the outdoors. They use 75% less energy than incandescent bulbs. Switching to LED lights both inside and outside your home can help lower your energy bill.
